Lisbon Implantology Week is an experience with two parts: one focused on learning and acquiring knowledge and skills based on an intensive course in Implantology (Implantology Training Course), and another entertainment component (Living Lisbon) that will promote cultural and extreme experiences and the discovery of the beautiful city of Lisbon and other historical places in Portugal.
The LIW is intended as a challenge, an enriching and unforgettable experience from a personal and professional point of view. Young participating doctors will expand their network and share knowledge and experiences.
The first edition of LIW will be held in Lisbon and ends in Porto, Portugal. LIW is aimed at graduate dentists with clinical experience (up to 3 years) who have already installed implants and want to gain more knowledge in the field of implantology.
IMPLANTOLOGY TRAINING COURSE
Intensive training, both theoretical and practical, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. A total of 47 hours of training, including 15 hours of theory and 32 hours of practice. In this first edition of LIW, there are 10 available openings. Each participant may install 15 to 20 implants.
The main goal is to educate participants moving on to the next level.

Implantology, Guided and Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Luis Cuadrado is a Doctor specializing in Stomatology, and Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He is also the Clinical Director for the Training Center and Implantology in Madrid. As Director of the postgraduate training program in Implantology UDIMA, he is also a member of AO, SEI, SECIB, SECPRE, and lecturer at CGCOE. To date, he has done more than 200 courses and conferences, both national and international, and has written more than 100 scientific articles. He is a former member of SEI and member of SOCE. He has a major practice in oral and extra-oral Implantology, tied to reconstructive surgery. He is an Advisory Board Member of World 3Shape.

Graduate in Dentistry from the University of Milan, Italy. Teacher at the Post-Graduate Course in Oral Implantology and at the Course of Oral Surgery at the University of Milan, Italy. Active member of the Italian Society of Osseointegration. Active member of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery and Implantology. Fellow of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). Coordinator of an ITI Study Club in Milan. Chairman of the Italian section of ITI. Member of the Italian Society of Periodontology. Author and co-author of scientific papers about Implantology and Regenerative Surgery published in peer-reviewed international journals. Co-author of 8 textbooks on Implantology, Pre-Implant Surgery and Oral Surgery, some published in English and/or translated into several other languages. Co-author of the ITI Treatment Guide volume 4. His main fields of interest are the surgical and prosthetic aspects of Implantology, Periodontology and Prosthetic Rehabilitation in Advanced and Esthetically demanding cases. He has lectured extensively on these topics in 32 countries in Europe, the Middle East, the United States, South America and Asia.

Clinical Practice exclusively in Oral Surgery, Implant Surgery and Oral Medicine. Currently Antonio Mano Azul is a Visiting Postgraduate Professor in Oral Surgery (School of Dental Medicine, Fernando Pessoa University – Porto), Visiting Postgraduate Professor in Oral Medicine (CESPU-Porto), Visiting Professor in several countries (Denmark, Sweden, USA, UK, Spain, Italy and Turkey) and Associated Professor European Master of Oral Medicine and Surgery, Toulouse (France). 1st Pfizer Prize for Young Researchers. 158 published papers in international and Portuguese medical/dental journals. Published 6 books and chapters of books. Founder and former President of the European Association of Oral Medicine. Examiner of the 1st European Diploma of Oral Medicine (Athens 2012). President of the Portuguese Academy of Oral Medicine (2015-2017). Consultant for the Portuguese Dental Association (OMD) and Portuguese Ministry of Health (DGS) for the PIPCO Project (National Oral Cancer Program).
Implantology & Advanced Oral Surgery
Dentist and founder of two clinics in Portugal. A graduate in Dentistry in 2007 from ISCSEM, Lisbon, Portugal, he was invited to be oral rehabilitation monitor and completed his Master’s in 2010 at the same school. He was part of several intensive courses and specializations, mainly in Implantology, Advanced Oral Surgery and fixed rehabilitation, in South America. Studied in São Paulo (Brazil), Havana (Cuba), Bogota (Colombia), Buenos Aires (Argentina); and is currently applying for an MBA at the University of Barcelona.
Oral Surgery & Implant Rehabilitation
Bachelor’s degree in Dental Technician from ESS-VS in 2001. Received her DDS degree from ISCS-N in 2007. Advanced Studies Diploma from the University of Barcelona in 2009. Postgraduate in Oral Rehabilitation and Occlusion in 2010. Currently she has a private practice in Porto and Lisbon focusing in Implants, Rehabilitations and Aesthetic Odontology. Clinical Stage in operating room of the CHVNG, Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery, in Oral Pathology and Oral Surgery, since 2007.

Graduate in Dentistry in 2005 in Madrid (UEM). Periodontal residency in Bilbao in 2008 by (EPAO). Post-doctorate program in implant-supported prosthodontics in Madrid (UCM). 2009 Master’s in oral surgery: implants, periodontics and rehabilitation in Barcelona (UIC 2010-2013).
